Practical Aspects of the "Golden Rule" by wise man John Stevens

Practical Aspects of the Golden Rule by John Stevens
If you open it, close it.
If you turn it on, turn it off.
If you unlock it, lock it.
If you break it, repair it.
If you can't fix it, call someone who can.
If you borrow it, return it.
If you use it, take care of it.
If you make a mess, clean it up.
If you move it, put it back.
If it belongs to somebody else and you want to use it, get permission.
If you don't know how to operate it, leave it alone.
If it doesn't concern you, don't mess with it.
If it will brighten someone's day, say it.

Try this Carbonara Recipe, it is sooooo good.

Carbonara

After cooking 1 lb of pasta (spaghetti, linguini or fettucini) and draining it, very quickly put pasta into a deep or wide bowl and add the 4 tblspns. of butter and toss, next add the very hot bacon and cream mixture and toss, then finally add the egg and cheese mixture.  The combination of all makes it very creamy and because the pasta and the bacon cream mixture is hot the eggs get cooked in the final mix.

1 lb. pasta
4 tblspns. Butter
bacon (5-6 strips cut into ¼ inch pieces and fried crispy)
heavy cream ¾ cup
(crisp bacon then add cream and heat through, you can put this on hold (turn off and reheat as needed)
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
½ cup plus a little more grated parmesan cheese
(Mix the eggs and cheese together in a bowl and set aside)

This is a simple recipe, I always prepare the above and then cook the pasta, the key is to cook the pasta al dente, drain and immediately mix the ingredients in the order given.

Add salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
